i-nit® is a brand of Plasma Nitriding Furnaces developed by İstanbul Heat Treatment.

With the installing of a 50 kW DC Plasma Nitriding furnace in 1993, our company was the first in Turkey to apply the Plasma Nitriding method in industrial applications. Over time, improvements have been made in both surface treatments and furnace technology areas, drawing on the experience gained.

In 2005, PLC-controlled Pulse Plasma Nitriding power and control systems were produced, and in 2010, within the scope of our R&D studies and a TÜBİTAK project, a Hot-Walled Pulse Plasma Nitriding furnace was manufactured. Thus, the first commercially produced Plasma Nitriding furnace in Turkey was commissioned.

In June 2020, our first Plasma Nitriding furnace for the market under the i-nit® brand was produced. Our "i-nit cold 800" model Plasma Nitriding furnace, whose acceptance tests and training studies were completed at our facility in Istanbul, has started operating after installation on the production line at the customer's factory.

From this date onwards, we continue to create an economical, environmentally friendly, and employee-friendly option with our i-nit® Plasma Nitriding Furnaces, offering technological superiority and support in process creation and product development phases, wherever there is a need for surface hardening facilities via nitriding/nitrocaburizing, both domestically and internationally.
